What are the chances

Ok the Bruins lost game seven but I have a funny pre- game seven story. My friend and I decided to check out the pre Boston Marathon festivities. As we are walking home and she spots a man wearing a Yale Hockey jersey and yells to him "Chris Higgins" … he walks towards us and says he is his Godfather .... after a few laughs he went on to say that Montreal will win game seven and Chris will have 35 goals next year… So far he was correct on game seven. We knew this was going to be a bad omen for the Bruins.
By the way my friend correctly pointed out that Higgins was in the middle of a fight during a game between the Sioux and Yale a few years back…. .. She is so SMART…….

Beginning and Ending in a FOG

This year's Fighting Sioux season started with playing in the October Fog at Boston College and ends with a Boston College performance in April that left us all in a fast moving Fog.

There have been a fair amount of negative comments from SIOUX fans. I am not saying fans can't criticize the performance of a team, "the boys" did not show up for the biggest game of the season. However, at the end of the day these are college kids who feel just as bad as we do.

However, it's easy to forget how lucky we are that we have a Team and Coaching staff that has been to the Frozen four.....four years in a row. How quickly we forget the unbeaten stretch, the comeback against Denver and the excitement in Madison.....Kozek Scores!!!!!!!!!!!

Living in Boston I also follow BU, coached by the infamous Jack Parker. They have not been to the frozen four since 1997.... and we all know who they lost to in that National Championship.

Even though the Red Sox have won 2 World Series in four years........I have been a long time Red Sox fan and I have learned how to deal with disappointment....its all about next year.

So therefore, I am looking forward to the Sioux attending the ICE Breaker in October hosted by BU. I just can't wait until the 2008-2009 season................
